Bianstone is a stone that can be used on every skin type but be careful with skin that contains a lot of heat (rosacea, couperose, flushed skin). The stone DOES help these types of skin but can temporarily bring more heat. Bianstone is unique in its kind. It is said that Bianstone was created by a meteor striking the mountains of China, leaving a big crater behind. This is where the stone could easily be found.

The stone is said to contain healing ultrasonic and infra-red rays, twenty trace minerals and negative ions. When you rub it against your skin, it will help improve the blood circulation and balance the circulation in Chi. It also has a positive anti-aging effect on cells.

Bianstone is perfect to work with on the face because it does not create “sha” (the tiny red dots you see on the skin when practicing Guasha on the body). However, as you do not get this warning in the form of “sha”, you must be careful not to work the skin to firm. You will not see any “sha” but believe us, a lot will have happened! Use the weight of the stone as a reference for pressure. That light? YES, that light ;-)

The short end of the board (with crescent) is perfect for between your eyebrows, or for working on the side of the nose or under the eye area with some gentle loving strokes. The long side of the board (with crescent) is great to drain fluids from bigger areas. The smaller hollow can be used at the bridge of your nose, on your chin and jaw. The corners of the smaller hollow are great to use on the acupressure points of the face. The bigger hollow is an ideal fit for your cheeks, forehead, back of the neck and spine. The long side with big teeth helps untangle fascia and works well on deeper lines and wrinkles.

How to clean and charge:

You can clean your board(s) in running water (and a natural soap). You can charge her in strong sunlight for 3 hours or with an Akasha crystal!
